[Office Ally] 1st Place Office Ally Challenges
Option 1: Patient Matching Challenge
Option 2: Google Deep Variant Challenge
1. Patient Matching Challenge
Office Ally is currently working on an algorithm which could match Patient data from various sources to identify whether it is the same patient. We would like hackers to come up with creative ways to tackle this challenge, and achieve as close to 100% accuracy as possible.
To be considered eligible for the prize, your solution must achieve at least 90% accuracy (which our sample SQL code does). Hardcoding will not be eligible.
2. Google Deepvariant Challenge
Google Deepvariant is an open source project which parses genomic data, and identifies "markers" (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms). In simple terms, these DNA markers help identify risk of certain diseases in patients. Office Ally would like to enlist hackers' help with setting up the DeepVariant, and then using the sample files provided on google's web page to run against a list of possible hypertension markers

Technical Difficulty
Is the hack technically interesting or difficult to develop? Is it a simple API mashup or is it a comprehensive effort that leverages advanced architecture, tough algorithms, and various libraries and languages? -
Polish/Design
Clean and seamless hacks are hard to come-by. Is the hack usable in its current state? Does everything appear to work as intended? Does it deliver a beautiful experience? Is it mostly bug-free?
